Who is responsible for your information

Arc Costs Limited is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is 4 Bark Street East, Bolton, BL1 2BQ. You can contact us at info@arccosts.co.uk or on 01204 397302.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, any phone number you choose to provide, the type of matter and the information in your message. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive or confidential information in your initial enquiry.

How and why we use it

We use enquiry information to review your request, contact you, check whether we can assist and take steps you ask us to take before any engagement begins. If you become a client, further information will be handled under the terms and notices provided for that instruction. We do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you separately ask us to do so.

Sharing and security

We limit access to people and service providers who need the information to operate the website or respond to you. We do not sell personal information. We use appropriate organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage any resulting professional relationship, meet legal or regulatory duties, and establish or defend legal claims. Information is then securely deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Contact us to make a request. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses necessary browser storage to remember whether you accepted optional cookies or chose necessary storage only. That preference is needed so the notice does not appear on every visit. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If optional cookies are introduced, they will not be activated unless you accept them.
